Elder Matthew Kirk, Guam-Micronesia Mission President
Guest Speaker
Matthew Kirk is an experienced pastor whose ministry has taken him across North America and into the heart of the Pacific. Over the years his service has taken him from the coast of Central California, to the mountains of Montana, and throughout the Pacific Union Conference, where he spent formative years as a colporteur. His service in ministry has instilled in him a deep love for people and a conviction that truth is worth taking everywhere. Since 2021, he has served as President of the Guam-Micronesia Mission, leading a diverse network of churches, schools, and healthcare institutions across Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, the Federated States of Micronesia, and the Republic of the Marshall Islands. At the heart of Matthew’s ministry is a passion for the Three Angels’ Messages — the distinctive Adventist call to a world in its final hours. He believes this message is not merely theologically distinctive but an urgent call for our time, and this conviction shapes everything he preaches. Matthew and his wife Mari make their home on Guam with their two children, Molly and Makson. When he’s not navigating committees or behind a pulpit, you’ll likely find him outdoors, in the kitchen, or in good conversation.
